Convict Records Artist T-Pain released these photos today of the most wasteful, ignorant status symbol that I have ever seen. I think I was locked to my computer monitor speechless for about 45 seconds in awe of the stupidity. I looked for noticeable Photoshop edit lines and morphs and could not find any.
I know this does not impress me and it probably disgusts all of you who are reading it, but this is an issue that we need to address with our youth. We need to make sure that they do not find this impressive, we need to make sure that they are not giving T-Pain props for beating Lil’ Jon out for the Guinness World Records largest chain.
How selfish, self centered and ignorant do you have to be to purchase a 197ct chain instead of making it cool to donate, give and provide for those who need it in your community???
I cannot speak intelligently on how much money T-Pain has given back but I know I haven’t seen pictures about it.. I haven’t read Press Releases about it and I haven’t seen him promoting it in his music videos or on his songs.. but he sure enough wants you to know he bought this chain.. and he wants you to know he blows his money on “pimped out” golf carts.
T-Pain, I hope Jay-Z buries you.. I hope that Autotune track starts a trend for real rap to return and demolish your career, you ungrateful, self centered, egotistical bafoon!

This can not be real…I refuse to believe that someone would spend money on such a ridiculous piece of jewlery but to each its own. We can not make someone think in a way that we think. I am sure the jeweler who sold him this BIG A$$ CHAIN is laughing all the way to the bank. I am also sure that the jeweler does not look like T-Pain so he is also laughing. It is so amazing to me to think that we came from a legacy of king and queens and now we are leaving behind a legacy of BIG A$$ CHAINS, sagging pants and too little daisy duke shorts…the question was ” How many lives one “Big A$$ chain” change…apparently NOT ONE!!!!
I’m a little speechless as well. Unfortunately, he is only part of the problem. When people stop being impressed by such wastefulness, perhaps only then will we see change.
If a person works Hard and makes the money…….. they can wear whatever they want.
They can burn their money if they want. Its nobodys business.
T-Pain ain’t no role model and he dont make kids music so enough with the role model BS…
People that dont like it wasn’t in the studio with him all them hard hours……long nights b4 the Fame…..and we dont know what struggles he went through getting to that spot. All the public sees is the finshed product.
I don’t personally like Autotunes but JAy-Z (my favorite rapper) MAde money selling drugs to his own people and rapped about it, got mega rich doing it.
And do you know how much Jigga wastes on G4 fuel…..That’s throwing money away.
This sounds like Hate to me……no different than saying someone wit a nice pair of Jordans is stupid and wastefull for dropping $160.

i’m not a fan of rediculously spending money on things that no one needs. but it is his money. he didnt recieve the money so that he can donate to people less fourtunate than him. you cant be mad at someone for taking what they get.(maybe not earned) and spending it on something that makes him feel different from the rest of the world.
