Chris you know you have a Jay bias.. this dude cannot fail to hear it from you. This is the lyrical conversion to Jordan on the Wizards. He is still better than the average rapper but he is still missing dunks and getting winded after the 1st quarter.
What rapper you ever hear use the word Indelible in a track….??

Both tracks were pretty weak in my opinion. Jay has to be put to a higher standard and he knows that. He can just come out with any ol’ thing and call it music like all the rest.
Chris the dude’s line even went over your head.. He said …verses permanently tattooed serve as my “momento”.. As referring to the movie Momento when the dude tattooed clues to solve a murder and daily tasks on his skin b/che had no more memory..
That line was hot as hell.. and the only hot line out of 6 total verses in 2 songs.. Yes, Jay is a legend and was once the best in the game.. but he now holds the crown by default b/c no one has mastered lyricism, marketability and longevity that matches his yet.. not because he has good songs.

Ok… i listened to both tracks 4 times. I like the message of “off that.” Just something about the delivery that really doesn’t “do it” for me. “Reminder” sounds like an angry letter to other rappers. Not all that interesting of a topic. How many songs can you make about how great you are? Jay can and must do better.
I don’t see what you see. That Venus/Mars is hot.
