1/2 of the non existent “Young Gunz”, Chris stuck to rap even though his partner Young Neef went back to the street when the checks started slowing up.. I think i even remember Freeway shouting Neef out in a song as R.I.P.. I think he was murdered in a robbery gone wrong.. Anyways, Chris is on top of his game and I think he can succeed if ROC Nation gets on its feet.
I could have posted a couple other videos from Mik where he went hard.. lyrical murder but i think this song has much more meaning and shows that they dude actually has something to say.. Check out this video too
WALE has been doing his thing for a minute.. i dont know what it is but its hard for DC artists to catch National attention.. (Shout out to Tabi Bonney too). I’ve been a WALE fan since my days at Howard and love how he does not deny the fact that he is from DMV, he reps hard. He even went on tour with a GoGo band back in the day. I hope the Lady Gaga track and his affiliation with ROC Nation gives him and DC the much needed push they need to get on.
