Is Paying Your Dues A Thing of the Past?

As Vick speaks about his 2 game suspension I have to wonder when the media and “the people” will let this speedbump and mistake in Vick’s life die down
There has always been the old saying ..”Do the time and you do the time”.. well when did we add another sentence to this line? what happens after you do your time? Is it still fair that Vick has served his time, publicly apologized, been humiliated by working a regular paying construction job and placed himself in a worldwind of debt that will take years to pay off even with his exaggerated salary from teh NFL?

I know you all heard about “The Airport Drink” too right? Vick having a grey goose and pineapple at an airport bar made headlines recently, in turn Vick was scolded by Tony Dungy and criticized by all media outlets..WELL .. the truth is, he did not break any rules set forth by the NFL.. and even further, the news forgot to tell you that Vick had been trying to move his family to Philly and was LIVING in an airport hotel! He was having a drink in a restaurant at the airport where he was living!!

Don’t let Faux News encourage you to despise our own.. He made a mistake and he admitted, served time and is trying to regain his life.. Lets give him a shot.
