
Today marks one week on the God Body diet. The rules are simple enough for me to stick to and I haven’t cheated at all. Consuming a gallon of water per day has been my biggest challenge but each day I’ve made the mark. It gets easier as the days go by and now I find myself wanting water more and more.
I have also been able to eat what I want as long as I cook it at home. Cooking not only saves me money but I can control what goes into my meals. This week I didn’t cook with any butter or oil either and reduced the amounts of refined carbs I ate.
Eating healthy is very expensive and I see why people aren’t jumping to eat more produce items and fresh meats and fish. But how I see it, if I want to be around for a long time, I must put only good food in my body… I have no other option. And now is the time to start!
Last Sunday, I weighed in 173. Today, 7 days later, I am down to 165. *dances then does 5 cartwheels into the splits* lol. Seeing results is my motivation to keep pushing forward. Can’t wait to see the end result on day 30.
